Description: Saucebox has been featured in The New York Times, Bon Appetit Magazine, Travel & Leisure, and was The Oregonian's "restaurant of the year" in 1998. Despite such notoriety, Saucebox maintains an insider vibe, and hole-in-the-wall presence in downtown Portland. After starting Portland's specialty cocktail movement, Saucebox evolved to include a professional staff, serving fine Pan-Asian cuisine on crisp, white tablecloths. Every night after 10pm, those tablecloths come off, the lights go down and a live DJ comes on.
