Description: Spanish-themed paintings adorn the walls, brick and wood accents are highlighted by soft lighting. Stools line the long bar and immense wine racks are everywhere. Attentive waitstaff and bartenders offer wise recommendations to novice or expert wine fans.

Malaga's tapas highlights are croquettes filled with chopped portobello mushrooms, cream cheese, pimiento, garlic and parsley topped with a subtle orange sauce and almond slivers. Fried calamari has a batter that's flaky, peppery and delicious. Kalamata olive tapenade, served with pita bread, successfully juxtaposes full, olive-garlic flavors with hints of anchovy, capers and feta. The chorizo, cheese and fruit plate offers Spanish cheese like manchego and deep-red, rich and delicate chorizo half-moon slices. Apple pieces are enriched by the unexpected blue cheese treat. Tiramisu has an exquisitely light texture and the right balance of delicate sweetness and strong brandy-espresso flavors.
