Description: Painted walls are plastered with posters and stickers in a dark, swirling galaxy theme. Alternative music is turned up loud. Everyone is smoking. A wall of booths and a line of red leatherette stools at the counter make up the entire dining area. What have you just walked into? A very hip little diner with a wait after the clubs close. Servers are earnest but sometimes forgetful.

Generously portioned veggie tacos come with black beans or hummus. Both are good, but the hummus is better, lemony and thick. The spinach and onion omelette comes on a platter rather than a plate, with a huge pile of hash browns and a light, griddle-fried gingerbread pancake on the side.
